SCS families are responsible for transporting their student(s) to and from school each day.
Students who reside in Akron Public Schools (APS) may be eligible for bus transportation services through APS. Students enrolled at SCS may submit a Request for Transportation (RFT) with required supporting documents to Akron Public Schools Transportation Department. SCS will submit the RFT for the student, but parents/guardians may work directly with APS to sign up for bus service.
Students residing in other districts may contact their local school district to determine eligibility for transportation. If transportation is not available from the local district, the requesting family may be eligible for payment in lieu of transportation through their home district.
